Solar
Different survey solutions can be applied in the renewable energy sector. Megtron Assist can do topographical surveys which can be incorporated to help engineering design teams with layout and design of PV solar plants, as well as stormwater management and other infrastructure. We also do setting out surveys which include the interpretation of construction drawings, calculation of setting out data and physically setting out solar plants.
Construction
Surveying plays a big part in the success of most construction projects in the construction industry, Megtron Assist have vast experience in construction related surveys, all of which can be applied in the construction of roads, bulk earthworks, buildings, houses, mining infrastructure and many more. From topographical surveys before the construction process to as-built surveys after construction has been completed and setting out and monitoring in between.
Engineering
Some fields in engineering rely on survey solutions for design purposes of projects. Megtron Assist has provided survey solutions for design teams in civil engineering in various projects for roads, buildings, and other infrastructure. As well as structural surveys for mechanical engineers to assist in their design processes for conveyors and mineral processing plants for mines, crane rails inside industrial buildings and many other applications.

Megtron Assist can provide solutions for architecture teams to assist in their design processes. Solutions include detailed topographical surveys of residential, industrial, or commercial properties, as well as 3D laser scanning and mapping of existing buildings for alterations or renovations.

Services include survey and design and setting out of bulk earthwork projects like, platforms for chicken broiler houses or packing stores and earth dams. As a solution, Megtron Assist has specialised GPR scanning equipment as well as conventional survey equipment which can be used to detect and map these services to provide detailed reports for our clients.
